The South Shore Workforce Investment Board (SSWIB) is charged with providing workforce development leadership in the South Shore region. The SSWIB provides relevant information regarding the workforce system and presents key findings and recommendations that support regional leaders and help stakeholders make informed decisions about how to strengthen the region’s workforce system.

    The MA Workforce Training Fund Program (WTFP) is now available to assist Massachusetts businesses train their workers and any new hires. Detailed information can be found at the state website (www.mass.gov/wtfp). There are several important changes to the grants including a rolling application process for the General Grants.
